In May, the 62nd Indianapolis 500 race opened with a 1978 Corvette as the pace car.

    We bought our Vette on August 28, 1987. It had 29,318 miles.  It now has 39,850 miles.  It is number 1,027 of 6,502 made.  It's all original.  It has the following options: power windows, power door locks, power steering, power brakes, mirrored roof panels, rear window defogger, air conditioning, gymkhana suspension, L82 225hp, 350CID engine, 4 speed close ratio transmission, positraction rear axle, optional highway ratio, tilt-telescopic steering column, RWL radials, P255/60R-15, aluminum wheels, heavy duty battery, AM/FM/cassette stereo system, power antenna, dual rear speakers, anti-theft alarm system, convenience group.
