Red Hatters Attend "Saturday Night Barn Dance"

Twenty-five Red Hatters and one younger guest (also in a red hat) attended a dinner theater at Goodridge, Minnesota, the evening of Saturday, August 20.  The musical, "Saturday Night Barn Dance", was the grand finale of the Smithsonian exhibition presented in Pennington County throughout the summer.

Reports indicate that most of the Red Hatters enjoyed the simple, tasty meal and the evening of corny, old-fashioned humor and music. Even the younger lady from "the cities" had a good time.

Of course, any gathering of twenty-six women in red hats and purple fashions is likely to be fun, whatever the scheduled entertainment may be. With all those Red Hats concentrated at one table, many wearing flashing jewelry, you may be sure we garnered a bit of attention. We also received an unusual number of welcomes from the friendly people of Goodridge.

We Red Hatters are friendly people, too. If you think our events sound like fun, slap a red hat on your head and join us! You will be welcome.
