2007 Calendar of Events

March

• March is membership month (Year end March 31st to March 31st)

• Recruit new and renew memberships

• Club meeting, Tuesday March 6th at Karlstad Legion Club 7:30 PM

April

• Recruit new and renew memberships

• Club meeting, with membership drive potluck supper, Saturday April 14th at the Lancaster Legion Club at 7:00 PM with meeting to follow

May

• Club meeting, Tuesday May 1st at Lake Bronson Legion Club 8:00 PM

• Meeting will begin at site of new ATV park, north of Halma at 7:00 PM. Will determine what clean-up needs to be done, location of entrance, parking & outdoor toilets, and ground sculpturing that needs to happen.

• May is continue membership month, "new and renew".

• ATVAM spring convention, May 2-6 at the Benton County Fair Grounds (Near St. Cloud)

• Youth ATV Safety Training (date to be scheduled)

June

• Club meeting, Tuesday June 5th at Karlstad Legion Club 7:30 PM

• June 9th, National Ride Day (annual club ride to Jerry's cabin, gather at Bernstrom Oil in Lancaster, 9:00 AM registration - Ride beings at 10:00 AM. Lunch at cabin) Bring a dish for the table. Brats, polish sausage, and beverage provided.

• June 22-23 Humboldt Centennial, parade at 1:00 PM

• June 24th, North Star ATV club ride at Bemis Hill campground, Beltrami Island State Forest

July

• Club meeting, Tuesday July 10th (because of holiday), Lancaster Legion Club 7:30 PM

• July 14th, Dart Run for Cancer (watch for posters and details)

• July 21st, Frogfest, Halma

• Schedule a club ride coordinating with Frogfest and New ATV Park (dedication?)

August

• Club meeting, Tuesday August 7th at Lake Bronson Legion Club 7:30 PM

• August 10th and 11th, Moose Fest (parade at 11:00 AM)

• August 11th, North Star ATV Club ride at Bemis Hill campground, Beltrami Island State Forest

• Karlstad "Hare Scramble" (date to be scheduled)

September

• Club meeting, Tuesday September 11th (because of holiday) at Karlstad Legion Club 7:30 PM

• Youth ATV Safety Training (date to be scheduled, Sept/Oct?)

• September 14, 15, and 16, Fall ATVAM convention, Appleton, MN

• September St. Jean, Manitoba, Quads full day of fun, 75 miles of assorted terrains

October

• Club meeting, Tuesday October 2nd at Lancaster Legion Club 7:30 PM

• Club ride Saturday October 6th (place to be determined)

There are no meetings for the winter months of November, December, January, and February.
