Conrad Joseph Donarski was born on Nov. 25, 1923 on his parents farm in Wright Twp. To Joseph and Agnes (Adamski) Donarski. He attended country school and helped on the family farm and for area neighbors. Conrad married Mary Ann Johnson on Sept. 6, 1949. They lived most of their married lives in Foldahl Twp. where they farmed and raised cattle. He also worked construction for Dean Witcher and others. They moved to Fisher in July of 2003.
He served on the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church council and was a trustee.
Conrad loved to hunt and fish with his family. He also enjoyed playing pinocle and gardening.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Mary, seven sons; Conrad Jr. (Alice) of Oceanside, CA, Tom of Lithonia, GA, Ken (Kathi Ricci) of Salt Lake City, UT, Arnold (Sherry) of Argyle, MN, Rick (Ruth) of Stone Mountain, GA, Daniel (DeAnn) of Eldrid, MN and Don of Hawley, MN, three daughters; Wanda (Arden) Borst of Grand Forks, ND, Lynnet (Jim) Hanawalt of Monticello, MN and Judy (Rodney) Bernat of Fisher, MN, twenty-three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four sisters; Tess Morkassel of Ada, MN, Mary Borowicz of Argyle, MN, Kathy Karpen of Inver Grove Heights, MN and Laurie Donarski of Grand Forks, ND, brother, Bernard (Marylee) of Acola, FL and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Raymond and Stanley and daughter-in-law, Sandy Ellis Donarski.
VISITATION: after 6:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service followed by the Knights of Columbus Rosary on Monday, July 11, 2005 at the Asssumption Catholic Church in Florian and one hour before services at the church on Tuesday. FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 AM on Tuesday at the Assumption Catholic Church in Florian, MN. INTERMENT: St. John’s Cemetery, rural Argyle, MN.
